Creamy, comforting and packed with flavour.

Ingredients

  • Penne (120g p.p)

  • Tomato puree

  • Soy based cream

  • Bell pepper (2)

  • Onion

  • Garlic

  • Spaghetti seasoning

  • Paprika

  • Neutral oil

  • Flour

  • Vegan grated cheese

Steps

  1. Cut the Bell peppers in generous slices, the onion in thin slices and the garlic in tiny chunks.

  2. In a large pan, first brown the onion and garlic in some oil, then add the bell peppers. They should cook until they are still slightly crunchy.

  3. Cook the pasta in a large pot. They should still have some bite.

  4. In a smaller pot, create a roux with the oil and the flour.

  5. Slowly add your cream in the pot as to not create clumps. Make sure to mix really well.

  6. Transfer the cream to the pan and add tomato puree to your linking.

  7. Add the spaghetti seasoning and the paprika. You should be generous with these :))

  8. When the sauce has thickened a bit and starts bubbling, add the pasta and the cheese.

  9. When the cheese is fully melted, serve and enjoy!
